If your child finds fishing to be a comforting, peaceful pastime, or if he thrives on the fast action of deep sea fishing, sign him up for Captain Felix fishing camp. Typically boasting lakefront settings, fishing camps usually take place in the summer. Kids can go out on the water with qualified instructors during the day to learn the mechanics of fishing, from baiting a hook to reeling in a fish. Then later, they're treated to field games, bonfires, arts and crafts, talent shows, swimming or even co-ed dances at night. Other camps are focused mainly on wilderness fishing for several hours per day, with breaks for meals. Kids get unlimited intensive instruction and can catch several fish per day depending on the season.

Our camp is created to help make youth aware of the importance of our ecosystems, teach ethical angling skills and fundamental saltwater fishing knowledge, Captain Felix have a funtastic fishing camp in Miami, Florida,  for children up to age 18.  Activities will include knot tying, casting, touch tank, and distribution of educational literature.  The lesson takes approximately 90 minutes to complete.
We are a year round camp serving seriously ill children throughout Florida.  We offer week-long summer sessions for the children and family retreat weekends for the whole family.  There is no charge to come to Camp so we rely on the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations and healthcare partners.
